Travel Tips

Best option is to land in Rome and then take train/bus to Termini Station and from there a train to Chiusi-Chianciano Terme. From this station you take taxi up to Citta della Pieve.

Budget

Subsistence
As per the standard rates of Erasmus+ the budget for 5 days of stay in Italy is €500
This covers accommodation, food and transport between hotel and training venue.
 
Travel
This is determined according to rates of Erasmus+ depending on the distance of travel.
You can find this info on the project proposal.

Accommodation

We do not organise accommodation for the participants because we are too many for that sort of thing but we seek some offers wherever possible. It is then up to the participants whether to take up such an option or not.

Hotel Vannucci is at the centre of the small town and it is also the venue for the training.
It is offering the partecipants a 20% off our official rates:
Superior double room:                 €   79.00 (offical € 99,00)
Deluxe double/triple room:       € 103,00 ( official € 129,00)
Double for single use:                   €   63,00 (official € 79,00)
Single room (only 2 available):  €   55,00 ( official € 69,00)
The rates above are per room per night, breakfast included.
Not included € 1,50 per person per day of city tax

Panelios is a countryside residence some minutes walk from the centre of Citta della Pieve.
It is offering a price for UPPScience participants from 30th october to 5th november 2018
49 € for an apartment for 2 persons 
69 € for an apartment for  4/5 persons 
84 € suite for 4 persons
Price is per night for the type of apartment - extra 10 % discount for 4 and more nights
These rates apply only if you book directly with the hotel by email or phone saying that you are part of the UPPScience project.

Participants need to:

1. be members of staff of the a partner or have a formalised relationship with the organisation,
2. have a full member profile including Role on the platform of the Community of Practice at http://cop.viscontiproject.eu/
3. register on the registration form here
4. bring their laptop or tablet for the training activity
